Applications and Use:
Exact lighting calculations are required to ensure the proposed lighting plan for a specific project is consistent with the requirements of the architect, developer and applicable regulations or codes. With increasing frequency, builders and project planners are relying on photorealistic visualisation for assistance in making decisions.
In contrast to conventional data, the data provided by Hess permit virtually exact, physical rendering of the planned lighting. Experience has shown that this is a distinct advantage, particularly, when decisions have to be made.
The required resources are minimal:
Photorealistic lighting visualisations run on your current lighting calculation programme. Hess provides all the necessary data required for the most commonly used lighting calculation programmes, such as Radiance, Lightscape and other standard lighting calculation applications.
We provide you with:
- 3D models of the Hess luminaires
- Information about materials and reflection
- Isolux curves of the luminaires
You provide:
- A 3D model of the project
We provide the data in the following file formats:
For Radiance:
- 3D models of the Hess luminaires in .dwg format
- Material files for the Hess luminaires in .lmz format
- Isolux curves for Hess luminaires in .ldt format
For Lightscape:
- 3D models of the Hess luminaires in .blk format
- Material files for the Hess luminaires in .blk format
- Isolux curves for Hess luminaires in .ies format
For standard CAD and lighting calculation programs:
- 3D models of the Hess luminaires in .dxf or .dwg formats
- Isolux curves for Hess luminaires in .ies or .ldt formats
