Reference: Xidan Park and Shopping District in Peking, China.
Xidan Culture Park is located on CHANG'AN Avenue, one of Peking's biggest and most important streets. The new layout and design of the park called for the uniform lighting of the open areas with minimum glare. In addition, it was very important that the light from the area lighting not interfere with the effects lighting at the fountains. Both these criteria represented formidable challenges to the lighting design concept.
Light beam image splitting technology is the optimum means of producing precisely controlled light distribution patterns and was therefore the ideal choice for this project.
FIORA, a luminaire with superb design and filigree appearance, harmonises wonderfully during the day with the character of the plaza as well, lending it a distinct personality.
The Xidan shopping district, Peking's oldest and most famous shopping area, is adjacent to CHANG'AN Avenue. Thanks to the illumination of the street with light beam image splitting products, the very busy shopping district is becoming an extremely popular place in the evening hours.
