Messe Stuttgart, a new exhibition centre

On October 19, the new Messe Stuttgart will open to the public with a ceremony featuring the cutting of a 500-metre ribbon to commemorate the completion of construction on the three-year, 806-million-euro project.

The Centre’s architecture, characterised by an abundance of curved and arched forms, combines functionality and superior design, as does the outdoor lighting strikingly. 80 VIGO illuminating columns, placed at the entrance and in the landscaped area at the middle of the exhibition grounds, provide fitting illumination. They create structure and emit unobtrusive, gentle light for an atmosphere of tranquillity without a flood of loud sensory stimuli.
