Vedo D pole mounted luminaire from Hess - The lightness of light
Vedo D, a new pole mounted luminaire, places downtown areas in a pleasing light with elegant lightness. Slender and tapered, the pole diameter broadens as it extends from the ground toward the top where the compact projector-reflector system, unobtrusively blends into the aesthetics of its urban surroundings. Thanks to light beam image splitting technology, the light it emits is pleasantly uniform and glare-free.
The projector housing, fitted with a primary reflector, mounts at a height of 4.5 metres. Positioned six metres above the ground, the secondary reflector panel breaks up the projector's light beam image into numerous tiny rays of light, which are hardly noticeable to the human eye. The light distribution is extremely precise, illuminating only the required area.
Hess offers various facet configurations, such as street or area patterns, to meet the specific requirements of the individual site. Thanks to the asymmetric distribution, most of the light is thrown forwards, away from the pole, so that there is virtually no light trespass in the homes of residents. The luminaires are fitted with a single HIT-CE /150-watt lamp.
Vedo D's mounting height of 6 m is the height most often required for city centres, making it the ideal choice for a host of lighting situations, in particular, for quality, cost-efficient lighting of highly frequented streets and plazas.
